Our
membership at the present is 110+ strong.
It would be nice to see more participation by our members in helping
with our events. Remember this club
belongs to all of us and we can all contribute in many different ways and
things that are needed to keep our club enjoyable and fun. Our Board of Whatever has formed a “Call Ladies Committee” to contact our members and recruit their help for our
activities. You may contact our “Call Ladies”
at any time to offer your help or suggestions. Please feel free to
contact Linda Thomen (352) 409-8354, Ginny Mortillaro, 352-242-2398 or Audrey Seidler (352) 242-0463.
A
great time was had by 142 residents at our Annual St. Valentine’s Dance. Our Board of Whatever members worked very hard to
make it a beautiful event. Kudos to all
of you! Special thanks go to our Vice Queen Sandee Kosner who chaired the “Sweets Committee”. Ice Cream Sundaes were the special treat of
the night accompanied by various types of cakes and cookies. The music was enjoyed by all our “Dancing
with the Stars.” We also cheered our
brave contestants who participated in our “How Well Do You Know Your Spouse” game
that was hosted by our Mischievous Master of Ceremonies, Hersh Bagby.
A
beautiful golf cart was prepared by our Vice Queen Sandee Kosner and Red
Hatter, Terri Eaheart for the Mardi Gras
Parade. Other Red Hat passengers were Katherine Eaheart and Audrey Seidler. Thank you, ladies, for representing our
Chapter with a true Red
Hat Spirit and Song.
After the parade, we were awarded Third
Place for our great golf cart at the dinner/dance! You Go Red Hat
Girls!! That’s the
!!!

activity will be open to all the ladies in our community.
All those who are interested in volunteering for this event are invited to attend our next Board of
Whatever meeting
which will be held in the 19th Hole on Monday, March 23, 2009, 7:00 P. M. We will start forming the various committees
for this event at our Board of Whatever meeting, so please mark your calendars.![]()
We
also need
for our upcoming Zumba Blast Party which will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Snacks & refreshments will be provided. Zumba for those of you who do not know is a
fusion of Latin and International music.
It is a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the
body; maximizing caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. In other words it is dancing, exercising and
fun, all at the same time. So put on
your favorite sneakers and come to the ballroom to have fun, make new friends,
laugh, giggle, dance and ZUMBA!!!!!
